Consulting & Mentorship Services

Are you a speech-language pathologist who is interested in learning how to provide gender-affirming voice therapy services to your clients? ​Loud & Clear Speech Therapy is pleased to offer individual consulting services for clinicians who are looking to explore what it means to provide culturally competent, ethical, and identity-affirming voice therapy services in their practice., including:

​

• Cultural considerations of working with transgender and gender-diverse clients

• Foundations of voice intervention and possible targets/goal areas with gender-affirming voice therapy

• Administering a comprehensive, identity-affirming, and client-centered assessment regardless of setting (telehealth, in-person, etc.)

• Writing client-centered and identity-affirming SMART goals

• Suggestions for intervention based on client goals, including mock treatment sessions and sample treatment schedules

• Troubleshooting the "fine details" including working with insurance, billing, and creating sliding scales

• Bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with a mentor where you can ask questions and get answers in real-time​

 

This consulting and mentorship service is offered on a sliding scale with priority given to transgender and gender-diverse providers who want to work within their community. The sliding scale ranges from $80 to $140 per session with a minimum of 4 pre-paid sessions (this ensures you will be provided with the essential information to start providing these services, with room to add more sessions if desired to go into greater detail and exploration). This means an initial investment begins at $320 to $560.
